The French Navy Works the Kill Web
On April 18, 2024, the multi-mission frigate (FREMM) Aquitaine, positioned off Quimper, and a Suffren-class nuclear attack submarine (SNA), off Biscarrosse, carried out for the first time a simultaneous double firing of the naval cruise missile (MdCN).
This firing successfully treated a land-based target, located at the Landes site of DGA Essais de Missiles. The two missiles hit their targets in perfect synchronization.
