The first-in-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) completes a replenishment at sea with USNS Medgar Evers, Nov. 2, 2022.

Recently, the Ford visited the UK and The Times reported on the visit.

“Welcome aboard USS ‘Badass’ — the world’s biggest warship.”

“Captain Paul Lanzilotta, the commanding officer of the 333 metre-long vessel, says the best word to describe his ship is “badass”.

“There’s always a bit of a buzz around the USS Gerald R Ford because we call her the biggest, baddest warship in the fleet. Our sailors feel that and that’s what I get when I walk around the deck,” he says.”
